Why Choose Montana?
When we told friends we were moving to Montana the response was varied and a bit surprising. Some asked us if we would be living in teepees, if we would have electricity, running water, and internet service.

While I was tempted to laugh at these questions, I had to admit that just months before, I really didn’t know much about the sprawling state that boasts 3 electoral votes per presidential election. Why would anybody possibly go there?

A few months and a couple thousand miles later, I would experience first hand the beauty that would have me forever calling Montana my home.
Along our cross country journey we traversed Beartooth Highway and had our first ever snowball fight in August, stood on mountain tops feeling the wind in our hair and the sense of victory one has when standing on top of the world.

We discovered just how small we are while passing herds of bison on our journey through Lamar Valley and we wondered at the night stars while dreaming of our new life in big sky country.

Fast forward five years, and I’m still in awe at this beautiful place I get to call home. As an airline employee, I get to hear the tales of 3 million plus Summer visitors passing through each day and the special place Montana has claimed in their hearts. Many don’t want to leave, most promise to return.
